The first virtual Palm Sunday service

March 15th, 2008

palmleaves.jpgPalm Sunday is the beginning of the Holy Week, the absolute highlight of the Christian Calender in my mind. We see the tragedy of Good Friday give way to the triumph of Easter Day. An amazing week of mixed emotions; the highs and lows of our faith story all told in one week. I love it!

It is also the first time the Holy Week services will be offered in the virtual Anglican Cathedral of Second Life. Starting with Palm Sunday services (see images below), I am also planning to lead a Service of Shadows on Good Friday.. and a big service on Easter Day.

Let the week begin!
