Hi Mark,
It’s “Dag Glenelg”. I will look for your services on Saturdays at 6pm.
It feels to me that one place to start thinking about vitual space is the old “ham’ radio operators who could talk to each other over great distances. Of course now we have visual and voice chat and even live cam. I guess the age of the video phone is here : )
Anyway, regarding SL and the church community there, it feels to me we ought to look at how to build community.
As i mentioned once before part of what is unique about SL and other 3 dimensional worlds is we have a global community.
For example: I have a friend in bei jing, china ive known for over 2 years thru SL. If you just talked to your friend in a far away country yesterday, it’s very hard to get sold on voting to go to war with that country : )
On the job front, the state is processing the paper to hire me about mid week. But please keep praying till it comes thru : )
Hope your whole family is doing fabulous. Enjoy that new baby, it seems you blink and they want to borrow the car keys and blink again and they have babies of their own : ) Just my view at 62 of my two : )
May the Lord watch over you,
Doug ( Dag Glenelg )
Greetings Dag,
