virtual-church.jpgThe question I get the most about the Anglican Cathedral of Second Life is, ‘How can a church online be a real church?’

In this message preached this past weekend in the Anglican Cathedral of Second Life, I answer this question!

I think Virtual Church would be a first step for some to explore their faith without feeling intimidated. Looking forward to Twitter Church… “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

Your idea of online Church as it stands now is a good supplement to the local body of believers. No less than digital/analog Church, but more because you offer participation through text messaging. I like the idea of sharing the Lords Supper as some call it or the Eucharist globally. The Church should pray the Holy Spirit how it should be administered. It can be at anytime and any place. There was a radio Pastor that administered it if only you had bread and water and I was blessed by it, it was at the heart of what Jesus asked us to do in remembrance of Him.
